Service bulletins & Recalls

A bulletin is issued by the automotive manufacturer
to the dealerships indicating possible fixes for
a preexisting concern.

Also known as a TSB, this is used for informational purposes only. As it’s not a recall, it is up to the dealer’s discretion whether they will make the repairs or notify their customers. TSBs are usually used to assist technicians with vehicle repair issues.

A recall occurs when an automotive manufacturer notifies all owners and dealerships of a specific vehicle that has a defective condition that may affect the safety and operation of said vehicle.

Any repair and service work as dictated by the recall is completed at no charge to the owner of that vehicle.
